Vassilis Zoulias is a storyteller, a maître of eclectic femininity. Inspired by the fragile elegance of the 50s and blending it with today’s dynamic forms and materials, Vassilis Zoulias’ creations are a contemporary interpretation of timeless yet noble style. His career in the fashion industry goes back for over 30 years.

He took off at a fairly young age, where he started working as a fashion editor in various publications such as Gynaika, Status, Votre Beaute and Greek Vogue. In 2003 he founded an accessories’ brand, Vassilis Zoulias Old Athens, with bespoke shoes and bags which instantly became a huge success. In 2008 he decided to “dress his shoes” and to open his haute couture atelier, under the name Vassilis Emmanuel Zoulias, designing eveningwear, cocktail gowns as well as wedding dresses. In the same year he launched his flagship boutique at a prominent location in the center of Athens, in the prestigious Kolonaki neighborhood. The “Vassilis Zoulias Demi Couture” line launched a few years later, making his feminine and masterfully crafted creations more attainable to a wider audience.

Many Hollywood celebrities have appeared with Vassilis Zoulias’ garments on the red carpet including Mindy Kaling at the MET Gala, Natasha Lyonne at the Emmy Awards, Robin Givens, Laura Dern, Tina Fey and Alison Brie at the US Golden Globes, earning a spot in the Best Dressed lists of Vogue and several other global publications, wearing a notorious pant-gown, which is now named after her.

Success led Vassilis Zoulias to expand his portfolio with a new ready to wear collection, launching in SS19, under the label Maison Zoulias.
